TampaTeks ("we", "us") runs tampateks.com. This page explains what information we collect through the website, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use the contact form, the Get Started form or the support chat, we receive what you type: for example your name, company, email, phone number and message, and your answers in the Get Started consult.
- Visit statistics. We use Metricool to count visits and see which pages are read. It records information such as the pages you view, the site that referred you, your browser and an approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Technical logs. Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, date and page requested) for security and troubleshooting. To prevent abuse, our forms keep a short-lived, scrambled form of your IP address to limit repeated submissions.
How we use it
- To answer your request, prepare a quote and provide support.
- To send you a confirmation of your request by email.
- To keep a record of our conversations with you in our customer records.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for other companies' advertising.
Service providers
We use a few trusted providers to run the website and our business. They handle your information only to provide their service to us:
- Microsoft 365: email, including the confirmation we send you.
- Google Gemini: the AI that answers in the support chat and the Get Started consult receives the messages you type there. Please do not type passwords or other sensitive information into the chat.
- Metricool: website statistics.
- Our web host: stores the website and server logs.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and customer records for as long as we have a business relationship with you, and as required for accounting and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send us a message through the contact form or call 813-417-5349.
Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the information you send us is limited to the people who need it to help you.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
